In the video, Villa, who was purchased by FC Barcelona from Valencia for $US46 million, can be seen using a Jabulani-ball, the official match ball for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, to kick bumpers, mirrors, siren flares, windows, tires and side panels of the US patrol car to smithereens.
FC Barcelona still wants to impress upon the fans that David Villa is only ‘playing’ a bad guy in the video footage and that in actuality he is not breaking any laws or destroying government property.
